River text me the photo below of him playing guitar 2-days before he was lost in 2016 alongside his Viola Beach bandmates and manager in Sweden. The message simply read ‘how cool is that?’
The daily pain and heartache of losing him will never leave us, but the hopelessness we felt for many years has gone. In its place, we now have optimism, positivity, energy and a belief that the charity set up in River’s name is doing amazing work.
Top of the list is RivFest! This is the music industry giving something back!
